I am a HCPC-registered counselling psychologist and BPS RAPPS-registered clinical supervisor working in my online private practice based in West London. I have over 10 years of experience working in the National Health Service (NHS), third-sector and educational settings with a wide range of life difficulties, such as burnout, depression, anxiety, anger, phobias, self-esteem issues, childhood sexual abuse, early childhood trauma, bereavement, cultural and identity issues, long-term health conditions, student mental health and those who work in the performing arts/entertainment industry. In addition to working with clients, I provide clinical supervision and personal therapy to trainee and qualified counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists (reduced fees available). My supervision style is integrative and focuses on the development of the individual in a wider context, as well as the problem itself. Although my primary model is psychodynamic, I also work with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and person-centred models. I use a combination of exploratory, psychoeducational and problem-solving techniques to help individuals gain a better understanding of their presenting issues, therefore my style of supervision is flexible to the needs and preferences of the practitioner. If you are a trainee, please ensure my qualifications meet the requirements of your course and clinical placement.
