For years supervisors and supervisees have had the same three complaints:

  1. No reliable place to list supervision services. Profiles end up scattered across Facebook groups, mailing lists, and word-of-mouth threads that disappear overnight.

  2. No obvious way to grow a supervision caseload. Even experienced clinicians struggle to reach new supervisees beyond their immediate circle,

  3. No simple channel to advertise workshops or one-off consultations to other therapists. Training offers get lost in social feeds before anyone sees them.

I’m Natalie, an HCPC-registered clinical psychologist and the host of the Mastering Therapy podcast. When I first went into private practice, finding a supervisor was difficult. I had no network and so spent hours scrolling Facebook groups, hoping a helpful name would pop up, it was unncessarily hard.

Fast-forward to now and I find there are moments where I could use a one off conversation with someone who’s an expert in a niche, but there’s no reliable way of finding them. Lots of psychologists are happy to offer that kind of consultation or run a short training, but there isn’t a simple place to find each other.

So I built Supervisor Platform. It’s essentially everything I wish I’d had when I started: one reliable home for supervision, consultation, and learning. I hope we can create solid community to support our profession and be the best clinicians we can.
