Clinical Psychologist

Location:

Staffordshire & Online

I’m a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience across the NHS, charity, education and independent sectors. For the past three years I’ve worked full-time in independent practice, supporting adults with a wide range of difficulties. My supervisory style is calm, reflective and practical - guided by my values of curiosity, connection and collaboration. I offer a steady space to think, make sense of clinical complexity, and stay connected to your professional values. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is my core therapeutic model, and I also provide ACT training to mental health professionals. Whether you are developing your ACT skills or looking to bring ACT principles into a broader therapeutic approach, I can help you build confidence and clarity in your work. Across my NHS career I held several senior leadership roles including Clinical Director and Head of Psychology. I have supervised psychologists, therapists, trainees and multidisciplinary colleagues, supporting them with complex case formulation, risk management, ethical decision-making and service development. I aim to offer supervision that feels safe, steady and genuinely useful - a place to reflect, grow and keep your clinical work aligned with what matters to you. I work online with supervisees across the UK and welcome enquiries for a free informal discussion about your needs.
