Hello! Thanks for viewing my profile. I am an HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist based in Scotland. I have 6 years post qualification experience in adult mental health, with a specialism in trauma. The main models I draw upon are EMDR, PCT, CBT, CFT and ACT. I am not an EMDR consultant, so cannot supervise those who are pursuing EMDR accreditation. Currently I work across the NHS, private practice, and most recently in facilitating supervision tutorials on a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology programme. In my NHS role, I have experience in providing clinical supervision to qualified Clinical Associates in Applied Psychology (CAAPs), Enhanced Psychological Practitioners (EPPs, both trainee and qualified) and Assistant Psychologists. I have also facilitated peer supervision groups in EMDR to qualified Clinical and Counselling Psychologists. I am particularly interested in working with CAAPs, doctoral trainees (Counselling or Clinical), and newly qualified psychologists. If you are a trainee or qualified counsellor and think I can help, I would also welcome a chat. What I offer: A trauma-informed, restorative and compassionate space to those registered and working in the UK. I invite curiosity and collaboration, to facilitate as you develop and deepen your practice and professional identity. Humour and love of animals is offered but optional! If you think we might be a good fit, please get in touch. I can offer reduced rates for trainees.
