A BABCP accredited therapist and supervisor. A Chartered Clinical Psychologist and accredited EMDR therapist, with specialist qualifications and experience in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma difficulties and OCD. I am trained in Schema Therapy and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. I use an integrative approach in my therapy and supervision, depending on the individual needs of whoever I am working with. I currently lecture and supervise in evidence-based treatment for psychological disorders at the University of Reading, Charlie Waller Institute where I am currently Programme Director for the PostGraduate Diploma in Supervision. I spent 2 years as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Clinical Lead for Healios, ensuring the governance and delivery of quality services for CYP. I also work in private practice providing psychological assessment and treatment for a range of mental health difficulties and supervision to other psychologists. I have 16 years’ experience in the assessment and treatment of trauma, anxiety, and depressive disorders. This includes several years treating PTSD and complex trauma within Berkshire Traumatic Stress NHS service; a nationally recognised NHS centre of excellence. I have completed the Bond Solon ‘Excellence in Report Writing’ course and I am familiar with the importance of the Civil Procedure Rules Part 35. I have experience of the preparation of medico-legal reports.
