I’m a Clinical Psychologist who has been working in mental health services since 2007 and in the past year work fully in private practice. In my clinical work I have a passion for supporting adults who have experienced trauma, helping them understand and heal from its lasting impact. My background includes many years in a Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT), where I gained extensive experience supervising psychologists working with clients from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of clinical presentations. As a supervisor, I offer a grounded, reflective space to explore the complexities of trauma work. I bring particular expertise in EMDR—currently working toward consultant status—and integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work into both therapy and supervision. I hope supervision can feel a place to explore the clinical side of things, but also to check in with how the work affects us—what we bring to it, and how we look after ourselves in the process. I also support supervisees navigating private practice, especially those adjusting to this after NHS burnout, as this is something I’ve been through myself. People often describe me as down-to-earth, relatable, and someone who brings warmth and humour into supervision. Happy to have more of a chat to see if I could be a good fit for you. As I am an EMDR consultant in training, I cannot yet accredit people working towards practitioner status. This is reflected in a lower supervision price for EMDR S/V.
