I work in the case management field as a Treating Psychologist and an Advanced Case Manager. I have done so since 2010, having qualified in 2008. I have a very sound understanding of the frameworks and methods of how to apply our skills and knowledge in a way that the litigation/medico-legal audience can best hear it. Being creative with our skills and exploring ways to truly meet a client's need without the contraints of statutory services is a huge passion for me, For example, PsychWorks (my company) is often praised for our insightful and supportive formulation-based input and well-written reports that typically consider the bredth of the professional network and context. I am also a keen advocate for the business parts of a Treating Psychologists work to advise on a range of challenges that sole traders experience from how to set Ts&Cs to invoice payments to terminology/signposting to decent resources. I'm an active member of the case management field, contributing via talks and events about the psychological underpinnings of the injury journey, trauma-informed practice, cultural sensitivity and promoting the value of early psychological interventions. It would be my pleasure to supervise anyone navigating the treating psychology/case managed/litigation world for one-off or ongoing support.
