Location:

I specialise in CBT for psychosis (CBTp) having worked in adult mental health services (psychosis pathway) for 8 years and, most recently, with the Univeristy of Oxford Cognitive Approaches to Psychosis research group developing and testing new (and often digitally-innovative) cognitive interventions. This includes working clinically with individuals experiencing anxiety, paranoia, unusual beliefs, distressing voices, agoraphobic avoidance and low self-confidence, as well as offering family interventions and carer support. I offer supervision for work supporting individuals and their families experiencing psychosis and bipolar disorder, and supervision/consultation for therapists using digital interventions such as virtual reality. I also offer supervision of CBT-based interventions (individual or family) for other clinical presentations. ---- I additionally earned a PhD from the University of Cambridge examining understandings and applications of attachment theory in clinical practice, and am trained in both the Strange Situation Procedure (SSP) and Adult Attachment Interview (AAI) assessments. I offer supervision/consultation on developmental attachment theory. ---- Post-qualification training -PGCert (Kings College London) CBTp (Individual and Family interventions) -Adult Attachment Interview (Trained by Professors Mary Main & Erik Hesse) -Strange Situation Procedure (Trained by Dr Judith Solomon, student of Mary Ainsworth)
