I’m an HCPC-registered clinical psychologist who specialises in supporting parents and children. I qualified from Salomons in 2012, and I have worked in mental health and neurodiversity internationally for over 17 years, including 10 years in NHS mental health services (predominantly CAMHS) and in academic research. In my private practice, I support parents with their parenting, as well as their mental health and well-being. I find expertise in both these facets is essential to provide a holistic approach for parents. My approach integrates a range of evidence-based therapies, including CBT, ACT, CFT, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and EMDR, in addition to training in attachment, behavioural and mindful parenting approaches. I run a group programme for parents struggling with reactivity, guilt and shame called The Guilty Parent Club. I also specialise in working with neurodivergence. I have expertise in neuroaffirmative assessment of autism and ADHD, particularly in women/girls and in complex or nuanced cases. I co-developed a new parenting programme for parents of neurodivergent children with KCL and teach on this topic at KCL. I also supervise doctoral research with Salomons on topics related to parenting, neurodivergence, emotional regulation and self-compassion. I co-founded The Neurodiversity Practice in 2023, which provides training and support to families, educators, and organisations, and hosts a community and resource hub for neurodivergent parents.
