Throughout my career, I have been driven by a belief that people with learning disabilities deserve safe, respectful, and empowering care. I began my clinical journey in the National High Secure Learning Disabilities Service at Rampton Hospital, before moving into forensic rehabilitation and community services. These experiences have fuelled my ongoing interest in patient safety - particularly preventing harm in therapy and within wider systems. I provide supervision that is caring, reflective and grounded in values. I enjoy supporting supervisees to feel confident in their practice, connected to their purpose, but is fundamentally formulation-driven. I supervise a range of professionals, including Trainee and qualified Clinical Psychologists, Learning Disability Nurses and PBS Therapists. I also teach on the University of Birmingham Clinical Psychology Doctorate and facilitate reflective practice groups for trainees.
