How lovely you here. I'm Susan, a welcoming, warm and compassionate pracitioner psychologist available in person in Stirling and online. My offer is one-off peer consultation in the areas of bereavement, loss and grief in older adults. During four full-time years of training in Scotland, I worked in NHS outpatient psychological therapy services in two settings (hospice bereavement healthcare; integrative care for long term conditions) and in community-led/based charitable settings (cancer support, adult community mental health services). Since qualifying as a Counselling Psychologist, I work wholly in private practice within clinical health psychology. Clinically, I work pluralistically and holistically with biopsychosocialsexualspiritual formulation. I'm trained in person-centred, cogitive behavioural approaches and integrative approaches to psychological therapy from professional doctorate. I'm trained in bereavement counselling and ACT from private independent training providers. If I sound like someone you'd be interested in talking to safely as a peer, please do get in touch, when you have a moment.
