I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist, with 19 years post qualification experience in the NHS. I have worked across the lifespan, predominately children and families. I have extensive experience in paediatric settings across several specialties. I entered independent practice in 2024 and am again working predominantly with children, young people and families with health conditions. I have supervised clinical trainees for 17 years and have provided supervision to qualified psychologists and Allied Health Professional colleagues for the past 15 years. I have attended courses in supervisory practice with several clinical training courses and have undertaken further development in my supervisory practice for qualified colleagues. I have experience and have supervised in the following modalities: CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Compassion Focussed Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I hold a level 2 qualification in Narrative Therapy. I aim to provide safe and containing supervision to colleagues at all stages of their career and have reflected on previous experiences of providing and receiving supervision to further improve my practice.
