Hello. I am a drama and movement therapist, certified Embodied Practitioner and clinical supervisor. I offer clinical supervision that supports supervisees to develop embodied awareness into their therapeutic practice. This includes exploring somatic countertransference, tracking bodily experiences in both therapist and client, and exploring how the body can contain and regulate us. I support supervisees in 'listening in' to what might be expressed non-verbally in their work. Alongside talking, my supervision style integrates symbolic and creative methods—such as art, movement, and sand tray—offering space to explore both conscious and unconscious dynamics beyond words. I believe this can enable insights and reflections to emerge that we cannot always reach solely through thought and language. I have specialist experience as a therapist working with children, young people and families who have experienced child sexual abuse and developmental trauma. My practice is informed by additional training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and trauma-focused CBT. I take an anti-oppressive approach which helps us think about our own positioning, potential biases and power within the therapeutic relationship and wider contexts. I aim to create a collaborative, curious, and affirming supervisory space where practitioners can learn, feel supported and able to develop their clinical practice.
