As a supervisor, I offer a thoughtful, collaborative, and supportive space where psychologists can reflect on their work, deepen their skills, and stay connected to their values and professional identity. My aim is to create a secure base that fosters growth while promoting ethical and compassionate practice. With over eight years of post-qualification experience across both the NHS and private practice, I bring a breadth and depth of clinical knowledge. My work has spanned individuals, families, and systems, including roles in perinatal mental health and learning disability services. I now specialise in parental mental health within private practice. I have supervised professionals at all stages of their careers- trainees, early-career clinicians, and experienced practitioners from diverse backgrounds including psychology, education, and the charity sector. Having navigated the transition from NHS to private practice myself, I can offer practical guidance and support for those considering or making this change. My supervisory style is relational, reflective, and grounded in psychological theory, integrating attachment, psychodynamic and trauma-informed perspectives where appropriate. I see supervision as a collaborative process: a safe and trusting space to think together. I pay close attention to dynamics such as parallel process, power, identity, and difference, as well as the influence of wider systems and organisational contexts on clinical work.
