I'm an experienced supervisor in NHS CAMHS, Children's Social Care and Not-For-Profit sectors, working both in direct clinical and leadership roles, as well as developing clinical service models and leading multiagency teams. I am a formulation-driven supervisor who believes in the sweet spot between respecting evidence, following your client, and acknowledging the limitations of evidence. I'm informed by a social inequalities frame, and believe that we all bring our own intersectional lenses to the work. When supervising, I find systemic, psychodynamic and mentalisation-based frames useful, but can flex depending on your needs. I have a robust history working in core CAMHS across the age range (0-19) but also have a number of specialisms. These are: 1. Looked After Children, Maltreatment and Complex Relational Trauma. Attachment & trauma (including VIG), "Edge of Care", Family Court assessments, UASC young people. 2. Movement & sport-based embodied approaches to trauma. Working with the body to support nervous system regulation. 3. Group supervision & consulting to systems / implementation science. AMBIT trainer & experienced group supervisor.
